The Sandpiper Gulf Resort is a resort condominium that is made up of four individual associations and a master Property Owners Association that governs the property.
The original resort was redeveloped and converted to a resort condominium in 2004 and is zoned for short term rentals only. Long term or residential use is prohibited.
The Board of Directors has retained the services of Boykin Management Company, LLC to manage the rental operation as well as the day to day operation of the association.

I have been a board member since 2004. I work in the film industry as an Asst. Director, Location Manager and Location Scout. I would say that during my service on the board I have strived to always have the best interests of all the owners in focus. I look forward to continue the work that my fellow board members from the past helped in making The Sandpiper a better resort for not only the guests but hopefully a better investment for the owners as well. I was an elementary teacher in Illinois for 33 years. Received my BS degree from the University of Iowa and my MS degree from NIU. I have volunteered at the Children’s Hospital at Health Park working with the hospital teacher. I am currently volunteering at JoAnne’s House in Bonita Springs for Hope Hospice. I live full time on Ft. Myers Beach about one mile from Sandpiper Resort. Currently I am the president of the board of directors where I live. Over the last 14 years I have served on three different condominium boards in the capacity of secretary, treasurer and president.
John and his wife, Michelle, reside in Fort Myers and have owned their unit at Sandpiper since 2004. John is an attorney practicing family law and used to practice community association law representing condominium, homeowner and cooperative associations as well as unit owners.
